The strategic plan will define our priorities and measures of success over the first five years of our journey towards our vision. 

Our future: Core goals and themes

Based on feedback from the Our future conversation and the continuing efforts of colleagues this year, three core goals and four themes have been developed.

The three core goals are:

• Research and discovery;
• Teaching and learning
• Social responsibility.

Our current three core goals have been widely reinforced by colleague feedback.

The four themes are:

• Our people our values, including a whole range of topics related to the way we do things. This was by far the most popular topic discussed during the Our future consultation;
• Civic engagement;
• Global influence;
• Innovation.

A member of the Senior Leadership Team is leading on each theme.
