About the Continuous Improvement Programme

As part of the Continuous Improvement Programme, the project will deliver simpler, faster, and more joined up systems that will enhance employee experience – by maximising technology and improving our current HR processes.  The project's aim is to improve satisfaction with the end-to-end service provided by the teams, whether you’re a prospective job candidate or an experienced people manager.

Our vision for the Project

We will:

  • introduce an online expenses process
  • roll out Manager Self Service – simplifying everyday tasks
  • offer an improved end-to-end experience for staff and managers

Working together

Feedback has been received from colleagues from across the University about our systems and approaches to inform the requirements of the project.

The project is also being supported by more than 20 Employee Experience Representatives drawn from all three Faculties and central teams, who are playing a key role to make sure that we address the views of staff and managers as we design and develop new systems and processes that will be easy to use, joined up, more efficient and offer greater transparency. These representatives have helped identify a range of improvements that will deliver real benefits to staff.
