Wellbeing week activities in Engineering Building A - w/c 15 May

As part of the University's Wellbeing month, there are a variety of free activities being hosted across Engineering Building A for FSE colleagues

As part of the University’s annual Wellbeing Month, and to coincide with National Mental Health Awareness Week, a programme of free activities are planned in Engineering Building A across w/c Monday 15 May, providing an opportunity to take some time for yourself, get a break from your desk and try something new.

These include:

  • Group tours to see the Mummies Exhibition at Manchester Museum (Tuesday 16 – Thursday 18 May, 1:30 – 2:30pm) – No booking required – come along to the Ground Floor event space for 1:30pm;
  • Guided building tours of Engineering Buildings A & B (Tuesday 16 – Thursday 18 May, 12:30 – 1:00pm) – Book your place via Eventbrite
  • Wear It Green Day (Tuesday 16 May) – Colleagues are encouraged to wear a green item of clothing and donate £1 where possible, with all proceeds going to the Mental Health Foundation
  • Knitting session in Beehive Restaurant, Ground Floor of Oddfellows Hall (Tuesday 16 May, 12:30 – 1:30pm) – No booking required.

A full schedule of activities taking place across campus throughout May, from Yoga and Zumba through to horticulture and choir performances, is available via StaffNET
