Our University AI Guidelines for Staff and Students

At Manchester, we regularly update our AI guidelines in accordance with the latest developments within the wider AI landscape.

We encourage all staff and students to make sure they are aware of these guidelines, and they are here to guide and inform appropriate use of AI in the workplace as well as highlighting the potential risks and benefits that come with this usage. 

To help get you started, we have created a useful video giving an overview of the ‘Five Principles for Appropriate AI Use’ which you can find below.
