Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey
PTES last ran from 5th March - 13th May 2018
The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey is a national survey, designed by the Higher Education Academy but administered by individual institutions and focuses on students' experience of their academic programme and associated resources. Institutions are not obliged to participate. Unlike the NSS, each institutions' results are confidential and so cannot be used to form league tables etc, but aggregated results at a national level and by mission group (e.g. the Russell Group) are available. This means results can be used to benchmark the University's own performance, for strategic planning purposes and for enhancement of the student experience.
