What is Managing at Manchester?

Managing at Manchester is aimed at colleagues in a line management role, and we select applicants based on the fact they are in a current management role or have a date to commence a new management role in the very near future.

The programme builds confidence and skills so managers can enhance their personal impact and work effectively with their people.

Management theory, case studies, practical exercises, group discussions, pre and post learning as well as working with other managers help to share experiences, practise skills and gain feedback in a risk-free environment.

Managing at Manchester is a programme 'recognised' by ILM (City & Guilds). On completion of the programme you will gain a digital credential issued by the university and ILM. Please note: this is not the same as an Institute of Leadership  Level 3 or Level 5 qualification.
