Training Resource for Supporting Trans* Staff
A new video resource is available that helps to understand some of the issues that trans* staff can encounter. The short video looks at different scenarios in the workplace including recruitment, working with trans staff and inclusion in the workplace. With real life testimonials and lived experiences the production also looks at terminology, definitions and vocabulary.
The video is held on the University's Podcast pages and you will therefore be required to log in before viewing. Once logged in you will find the video under the 'PSS' menu.
Additionally we have further resources on our Gender Reassignment pages which includes more definitions. We are currently replacing existing training (Trans*fer: a journey) with a new offering which will be available later in 2020.
*Trans is an umbrella term encompassing all those who do not identify with the sex they were assigned at birth, including but not limited to those who are transgender, genderqueer, agender and non-binary.
