Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
There are many ways in which you can expand your knowledge from an equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) point of view and some of these opportunities can be found below.
Certain EDI training is mandatory for all new starters and anyone who is involved in any part of the recruitment process. By ensuring people undertake ‘Diversity in the Workplace’ and ‘Unconscious Bias’ training, we can make steps to ensuring our people are treated fairly for the entirety of their University career.
We have other modules for people to undertake including 'Supporting Trans Staff' and modules for students as well as guidance on Inclusive Language.
The team are also developing Active Bystander Training which will be rolled out university-wide 2021/2022.
