Consultation / People and Organisational Development Process

Consultation closure

The Cohort 3 consultation period has now closed.

After the announcement of the Cohort 3 proposals, there is a 4-6 week consultation period where you are welcome to raise any questions or suggestions about the proposals.

The proposals have been developed collectively by our student experience leaders, who manage student-facing teams. Other staff and students have also had opportunities to input into the designs at various stages of their development.

However we understand you may still have questions or concerns about how the structures and other changes will work in your area - all feedback received during the consultation period will be reviewed and considered. In Cohorts 1 and 2, changes were made to the structural design and job descriptions because of this feedback.

1. Talk to your line manager, People & OD Partner and/or SEP leaders

In the first instance you should discuss any questions or feedback with your line manager, People & OD Partner or SEP leaders in your area. They will answer your questions and provide more information where possible.

2. Submit your feedback to the SEP team

If you have spoken to your manager or other local leaders but still want to send a question or feedback to the SEP team, you can fill out this online form. We will read and consider all this feedback, and respond to any queries.

Impacted colleagues who are members of a trade union recognised by the University can also give feedback via their local union representative.

Although we will consider all your feedback, unfortunately it is not always possible for everything to be incorporated into the design. For example - where feedback from different people or teams suggests different approaches, or where ideas for individual parts of the structure could not work as part of the overall design. The overall team structure design was part of the consultation for Cohort 2, therefore this will not change.
