Hiring managers, approvers and P&OD's responsibilities in the creation and approval of new and direct replacement posts:

Responsibilities

Hiring Manager

  • Create a new job or choose an existing job for replacement in Jobtrain - fully complete all information required
  • Add any notes you wish the approver(s) to see in the 'notes' tab in Jobtrain
  • Upload all the supporting documents under the 'Approval Attachment' section
  • Initiate the approval process - complete the vacancy approval form

Finance approver            

  • Act on the email notification you receive from Jobtrain to approve or reject the vacancy

Final approver(s)            

  • If the vacancy is approved by the first approver, you will receive an email notification from Jobtrain asking you to approve or reject the vacancy
  • Add any notes you wish the hiring manager to see in the 'notes' tab in Jobtrain

People & OD Recruitment team

  • Once the final approver has approved the form, People & OD Recruitment will commence advertising the role and advise the hiring manager when the advert is live
