Developing our future vision
What should our University’s vision for the future be? As we enter our third century we want to involve and encourage all of our staff to have their say.
So the University has launched Our Future – an initiative to encourage colleagues, students, alumni and external stakeholders to think about what the future holds for our University and share their ideas about the kind of institution we want to be.
You’ll be encouraged to think big about the opportunities and challenges higher education and our own University will face beyond 2030.
This is a totally new approach to developing our University’s strategic vision and one which gives a voice to our greatest asset – our colleagues.
We want you to think boldy and freely so that all of the experience and expertise from across our University can shape our future vision.
As part of the conversation you’ll be asked to come up with Big Ideas – innovative and creative concepts which will be considered by the University’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) when shaping the University’s new vision – to be launched later in 2019.
Our Future is happening until October 2018 and there will be plenty of ways to get involved including dedicated team meetings, taking part in University-wide events or submitting your Big Idea online.
