The Manchester Access Programme (MAP) is our University’s central widening participation scheme for local Year 12 students in Greater Manchester.
The Programme aims to help students who meet specific criteria gain a place at The University of Manchester, or another research-intensive university, through our events, workshops and an academic assignment.
Students can benefit from reduced entry requirements of up to 2 A Level grades, support applying to university and the undergraduate access scholarship, currently £1000 per year. Year 12 students in Greater Manchester can apply for MAP now via our website. Applications will close on Sunday, 11 December at 11.59pm.
