Break a world record – join the Worldwide Manchester Run

25 May 2021

We’re gathering alumni, students, staff, prospective students and friends for the largest online run in history this Saturday (29 May)

The Worldwide Manchester Run

We’re gathering alumni, students, staff, prospective students and friends to create the largest online run in history on Saturday, 29 May, 12noon (BST).

Over 630 people worldwide have already joined up – sign up now to be part of this record-making community.

We’re hosting this over Zoom so you can join us, from wherever you are – you just need to be filmed or film yourself moving on camera.

We’ll send you more information about how to join before the event.

This run is part of our social responsibility programming – we invite participants to make a donation to our Student Support Appeal or to one of our nominated charities, local to our UoM Worldwide Centres.

Feel free to run with others but make sure each person signs up individually and that there is one camera per person – if more than one person is running on the same video, we can’t count it for the world record.

Mention @alumniUoM in anything you share on Instagram or Twitter – whether that’s a picture of where you are, or a running selfie.

Join this global volunteer action and experience the power of the Manchester community.
