If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to be a school governor, what the involvement and time commitment would be, how you would be supported, then come along to our lunchtime session on Wednesday, 19 May at 12pm to find out more.

Meet Governors for Schools who can guide you through the registration process and Alison Gregory who can tell you more about the support network at the University.

The School Governor Initiative is in its tenth year and has over 200 staff governors. There are regular network meet ups and an annual conference to help you be as effective as possible in your volunteering role.
