Staff recruitment advertising for December 2020 and January 2021

Deadline for submitting vacancy details to HR Services is Wednesday, 2 December
The 2020 University Christmas closure period is from Friday, 18 December 2020 until Monday, 4 January 2021.
To ensure that we’re able to advertise any vacancies before the closure period, Recruitment Managers are asked to submit fully completed documentation by Wednesday, 2 December 2020 for the attention of the Recruitment Team at HRServices@manchester.ac.uk. You should include the following documents:
- Approved PCM
- HERA profile
- Job advert
- Further particulars
Please be aware that if we do not receive all completed documentation listed above we will be unable to post your job advert before the Christmas closure period. In this event, we will endeavour to contact you, but this will extend the recruitment timeline for your vacancy.
The Recruitment Team will continue to post adverts throughout December with the last advertisements being posted on Wednesday, 16 December 2020 by 5pm.
The Recruitment Team will be on hand to offer help and support to the Recruitment Managers until close of business on Friday, 18 December 2020.
If you intend to advertise with any external providers, please contact the Recruitment Team at HRServices@manchester.ac.uk as soon as possible because external provider’s deadlines may also be affected by the Christmas and New Year period.
We recommend that closing dates are set after the University re-opens on Monday, 4 January 2021, so that any candidates requiring advice or guidance are able to speak to a member of staff at the University after the closure period.
