Join the online event with Professor Lou Kushnick and Northern Police Monitoring Project discussing issues of racism

Professor Lou Kushnick OBE and Northern Police Monitoring Project will deliver a pre-recorded talk followed by a live Q&A session. 

The intention is discuss the centrality of racism and the creation of whiteness, which fundamentally denies the humanity of people excluded from American identity. It will then explore similarities between UK BLM and the global response to George Floyd’s murder.

AIU RACE Centre will host the event on Friday, 30 October at 2.30pm as part of Black History Month. 

The event is free and open to all.
