The School of Engineering comprises the Departments of Chemical Engineering and Analytical Science, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering.  Sitting under the School of Natural Sciences are the Departments of Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Mathematics, Materials, Physics and Astronomy.

The Heads of School were appointed at the end of last year; Alice Larkin was appointed to the role of Vice Dean and Head of School for the School of Engineering and Chris Hardacre as Vice Dean and Head of School for the School of Natural Sciences.

The insight of staff members within FSE has been crucial throughout the review and their experience has helped to shape many of the new structures and processes.
