StartUp Spotlight - from an entrepreneur's perspective

These informal events are designed to inspire and inform students, from all subject backgrounds, on aspects of starting a venture from the entrepreneur’s perspective

Staff are also welcome to attend.

A short presentation is followed by the chance to ask the the speaker your own questions. The format is turn up, get involved and enjoy.

The next event is on Monday, 18 February at 5pm – Rm G.033, Alliance Manchester Business School, Booth St West.

The speaker is Steve Pearce, co-founder of TickX.

Steve is on a mission to build the global platform to search, compare and book experiences (events, attractions and film). The website is live in the UK, Ireland and Spain with more countries coming soon.

Steve and co-founder Sam Coley appeared on Dragons Den in 2017. Investors in TickX include Ministry of Sound, 24Haymarket, BGF Ventures, Nick Ferguson (Current Chairman of Savills/Former Chairman of BskyB), Stuart Fletcher (Former Bupa CEO) and Stan Boland (CEO of FiveAI).

The event will start at 5pm with refreshments.
