Updated Visa Loans Policy

The University regularly reviews its policies to ensure that they are as effective as possible and reflect best practice
We have recently undertaken a review of the Visa Costs and Loans Policy for international (i.e. non-EU nationals) staff, which provides financial support to colleagues who are required to pay for Tier 2 visas and health surcharges for themselves and their dependents.
Following the review, the University is pleased to confirm that it will now meet the costs of the annual NHS Immigration Surcharge for staff, as well as increase the interest free loan amount for dependent visas and surcharges to £10,000. This policy is effective immediately.
