How should we improve staff communications? Have your say and get a free coffee

25 Jun 2018

The University has launched a survey asking for your views on current staff communications and what you’d like to hear more or less about in the future

Staff communications survey

The first 3,000 respondents to complete a quick 10 minute online survey will be emailed with a Food on Campus voucher for a free hot drink.

This initiative is in response to the findings of the Staff Survey 2017. We want our research to be as representative of your views as possible. Therefore we would urge you to take part.

Your responses will be treated completely confidentially and used to help shape our future approach to staff communications at a University-wide and local level.

The survey will ask about your satisfaction with current staff communications, what you would like to hear more or less about and how you would like to receive information. Some questions relate to the University as a whole, and some to local areas.

Free drink

To thank you for taking part, the first 3,000 respondents to complete the survey will be emailed with a voucher for a free hot drink. This can be redeemed for a latte, cappuccino, Americano or tea at any of The University of Manchester’s Food on Campus venues. The vouchers will be emailed out to staff when the survey closes on Monday, 23 July.

How we will use your data

Any personal data gathered as part of the project will only be kept for a limited amount of time. The data will be stored confidentially, used to shape future internal communications campaigns and for no other purposes.
