As the University invests more and more in digital capability for the future, we are offering colleagues the chance to find out how savvy they are and identify personal development to improve their digital capability.
The Digital Discovery Tool, developed for the HE sector by the digital provider Jisc, is available for free for a limited time only to University staff.
The simple to use tool is anonymous and takes about 30 minutes to complete. It provides a useful set of prompts which will get you thinking about your digital literacy and make suggestions on how you can improve your skills.
Going forward, the University will be able to use the information captured to identify where further support may be required to ensure staff are ready for the challenges of the future, including the implementation of new systems under the Student Lifecycle Project.
