Paul wins first iPad in CROS prize draw

02 May 2013

Congratulations to Dr Paul Hoffman from the School of Psychological Sciences, who has won the first iPad Mini in the Careers in Research Online Survey (CROS) 2013 prize draw.

Dr Paul Hoffman

Are you a member of research staff? Do you want to improve your working conditions, career aspirations and career development opportunities?

Then spend just 20 minutes completing the Careers in Research Online Survey (CROS), the national survey for research staff, which is open until Friday, 31 May.

CROS is run by an external organisation, and you can be sure that your response will be anonymous and confidential.

Professor Matt Lambon Ralph, Associate Vice President for Research, said: “Staff responses are vital in helping us understand what we are doing well and what we can do better to improve the working conditions, career aspirations and career development opportunities for research staff at the University.

“Time spent on this task will be a very useful and an important investment. Data will be used by the University’s Researcher Development Group to continue our work to improve University-wide procedures and practices that better support our research staff. Past survey data have been very useful and have already shaped our current policies.”

If you participate, you'll have a chance of winning one of the five remaining iPad Minis in the prize draw which will take place each week until CROS closes.
