Targeted call for Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs).
The Technology Strategy Board, Welsh Government and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) are to invest jointly up to £1m to establish new Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) in the area of power electronics.
Innovative projects are particularly encouraged in the fields of:
- development of power electronics devices
- innovative materials
- systems approaches
- development of megawatt-scale (MW) power electronics devices
- development of MW-scale converters in Flexible AC Transmission Systems
- high voltage DC systems using GW-scale power electronics converters
