Developing the offshore renewable energy supply chain

Targeted call for Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs).
The Technology Strategy Board (TSB) and the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) are to invest up to £1.2m to establish new KTPs to develop the offshore renewable energy supply chain.
This targeted call invites applications relating to power generation from offshore wind, wave, tidal stream and tidal range energy sources.
Innovative projects are particularly encouraged in the fields of:
- environmental monitoring
- high-voltage power transmission
- automation for scale manufacture
- advanced materials
- corrosion resistance
