Windows 7 teaching application deployments

A project is currently under way within IT services to update the university’s desktop computing infrastructure.
This will deliver new desktop services based on the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system by the start of the 2012/13 academic year.
All student desktop PCs will be reimaged over the summer in preparation for the start of the 2012/13 academic year. They will run a new application portfolio on the Windows 7 operating system.
