Come along to the Manchester Science Spectacular!

On Saturday 29 October 2011 (11am – 3pm) at Whitworth Hall and The Manchester Museum.

If you haven't heard - this week is all about the Manchester Science Festival! And The University of Manchester is playing host to a Science Spectacular!

Find out why plants don't fall over, journey through a jet engine, explore the invisible universe, tickle some maggots, and help us hunt for dinosaurs! Over 35 interactive, hands on science activities – fun for all the family. Meet the scientists and engineers behind the amazing research at Manchester. There will be lots of activities suitable for children of all ages, including face painting and lucky science dips, and there's plenty to keep adults entertained too. 

So bring your mum and dad, bring your kids, bring your friends to this free event. Take part in our fun science challenges and become a Manchester Science Star!
