Agreement has not been reached on the proposed changes to the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) mentioned in last week’s eUpdate.

Although the proposed changes will not now be implemented from 1 April 2011, eligible employees who wish to apply to join the Final Salary Section of the USS are advised to contact the Pensions Office as soon as possible .
