Carton recycling now available on South Campus

A new unit has now been added to the recycling station at University Place for people to recycle drinks/tetrapak cartons.

The recycling station is located between George Kenyon Halls of Residence and Jean McFarlane Building (buildings 93 and 92 on the campus map) and also has facilities for the recycling of cardboard, paper/newspapers/magazines, plastic bottles, mixed glass, cans and clothing.

Improved recycling facilities installed behind Stopford Building

The previous recycling facilities behind the Stopford Building (next to the cycle shelter) have been removed for safety reasons and a much improved facility has been installed on the other side of the shelter.

The facilities now allow the recycling of cans, plastic bottles and mixed glass (any glass items of any colour can be placed in this unit).
