Carriageway surfacing on Chorlton Street

One-way access between Portland Street and Whitworth Street during week commencing 28 February

Re-surfacing works will take place to the section of Chorlton Street between Portland Street and Whitworth Street from Monday 28 February to Sunday 6 March 2011 inclusive.

Works will take place as follows:

• Monday to Friday - works will be confined to the section between Richmond Street and Whitworth Street;
• Sunday - works affecting access to the bus station and car park will be carried out from 7pm.

During the works, Chorlton Street will be one-way from Portland Street to Whitworth Street, in that direction. All pay and display parking bays, taxi ranks and the coach pick-up/drop-off point on the corner of Portland Street will be suspended during the works.
