- Boris Tishchenko String Quartet No. 1
The unflinching modernism of Aleksandr Mosolov’s first string quartet (1926) meant that it was never performed within his lifetime. The first quartet of Boris Tishchenko was written as he graduated from the composition class of Galina Ustvolskaya in 1957.
