06 Dec 2010

Avoid rail price rises by applying for your ticket to start on 31 December

tram and buses

As part of its Travel Plan, the University offers an interest-free loan facility for all types of annual public transport tickets - bus, train, tram, etc. Your local HR office will purchase your ticket on your behalf and you pay back from your salary over 10 months.

Save ££!

By purchasing your ticket this way, you can save up to several hundred pounds when compared to buying daily, weekly or monthly tickets. You also take the hassle out of continually purchasing tickets.

Calling all train travellers

Many train ticket prices will increase in January, so it may well be a good idea to apply for your annual ticket to start on 31 December to get the annual ticket at this year's prices. If you wish to do this, please submit your application soon to give enough time to order your ticket.
