Funeral arrangements, obituary and online Book of Condolence
Professor Gilbert’s funeral will take place in Manchester next week. Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell will speak at the funeral and represent the University. Should any member of the University require further details about the funeral arrangements, they should contact the President’s Office:

The University will also be holding an event to mark Professor Gilbert’s considerable achievements. This will take place on Foundation Day (20 October 2010) – further details will follow nearer the time.
