Appointment of Deputy President and Deputy Vice-Chancellor

Professor Rod Coombs to take up role from 1 August 2010

Professor Rod Coombs has been appointed Deputy President and Deputy Vice-Chancellor of The University of Manchester with effect from 1 August 2010. In this role, Professor Coombs will support the President and Vice-Chancellor across the full-range of functions and responsibilities involved in the management and direction of the University.

The post of Vice-President (Research) will be advertised internally within the University in the near future.
