Open to UK schoolchildren aged 7-19
On Monday 11 January the School of Computer Science launched Animation10 - the 3rd Annual UK Schools Computer Animation Competition.
Animation10 is a not-for-profit competition, designed to enthuse young people about Computer Science, and is open to all UK schoolchildren aged between 7 and 19. The deadline for entries is 1 April 2010.
Animation10 is funded by Google and Electronic Arts, and in association with BBC 21CC, and cs4fn.
There are great prizes, and the Animation Festival and Awards Ceremony will be held at The Lowry, Salford Quays, Manchester on 9 July 2010.
