Recruitment drive for new team members

The University has a staff netball squad consisting of two teams and a number of additional people who just attend the training sessions.

As the new season approaches, they are looking to recruit more members of all abilities.  The team plays in the Campus Sport league, matches are Wednesday evenings and training is 12:30-1:30pm on Fridays at the Sugden Sports Centre.

Anyone who wants to join the training should contact the squad coach Samantha Clarke or go along on Fridays (cost is £2 per session). Please note that there will be no training on 21 and 28 August or 2 October - 6 November inclusive.

Anyone who wants to join one of the teams needs to attend a squad meeting in the Well Being Room, Dover Street Building, Dover Street on Friday 28 August at 12:30pm. The cost of joining the team for a year is £25, there are no additional charges for the matches, payment will be required during the meeting (cash only please).
