Celebrate it at The Manchester Museum.

Celebrate National Science and Engineering week at The Manchester Museum with the following events:

Sciencetastic
Saturday 7 March, 11am – 4pm

Celebrate National Science and Engineering Week with hands–on activities and meet scientists from The University of Manchester.

There will be lots of activities to take part in throughout the day, including Tea Mobile which involves exploring the science of tea, and other hands–on activities include fooling your senses in 'Making sense of your brain'.

Fun activities for the under-fives will involve children exploring the different materials on our galleries through stories and becoming a forensic scientist for the day and unravelling the mysterious find in Lindow Moss.

Human remains debate
Wednesday 11 March, 6 – 8pm

Join Museum staff in an interactive debate discussing how people feel about the display of human remains and how does this debate influence all our views on death and what should happen to our bodies when we die?

Quiz night
Thursday 12 March

Get those science egghead brains out for a science-themed quiz in our café.
