Fake email: "Re: Account Update-!!!".

Warning from IT Services about fake email message.

We are currently seeing a large number of messages sent to staff and students asking them to send their usernames and passwords in order to re-validate their account.

This message is a fake and was not sent by any customer services group at the University. If you do receive such a message, then delete it.

Do not reply and do not send your username and password back to this address.

If you have replied you will need to change your password and security questions as soon as possible. This can be done by contacting the IT Servicedesk.

For future reference: University IT staff would never ask for your login details via email. Anyone receiving such a message should delete it immediately.
