Residential Tutor vacancies in University halls.

Applications are invited from academic, academic related or research staff or postgraduate students of The University of Manchester for residential Tutor posts available in various residences throughout the University residential campus areas.

Tutors work as part of the welfare support team in each residence. Duties include assisting in the pastoral care of residents, working with the Residents Association and helping to foster a community spirit. Tutors will be required to be on call during the night and at weekends at regular intervals.

Applicants should be sociable and interested in student affairs. They should also be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and experience of team-working.

Remunerations is given to Tutors in the form of free accommodation. Tutors residing in catered halls are expected to pay for the meal charges applicable for their hall of residence.
