New central University post room

Now open in John Owens Building, Lower Ground Floor

A new central University post room has opened in the John Owens Building, Lower Ground Floor. The new facility will combine the services previously operated in the former Whitworth Hall and Sackville Street post rooms, which have now closed. The move to a central post room was necessary to accommodate new working practices and house machinery which will help improve efficiency and the quality of the postal service. The relocation has also taken place to complement the move to a Central University Postal account from 1 August 2007.
