Turkey-Syria earthquake response: join our panel event

Join the Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute (HCRI) to discuss the needs and challenges of the response on Friday, 3 March from 4pm until 6pm

The panel will discuss the needs and challenges of the response to the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, and the politicisation of aid. There will be a dedicated time for questions from the audience to the panellists, and the audience attending in-person will be invited to stay for a small social gathering after the talk.

• Ismail Alabdullah, White Helmets volunteer, the only rescue team in Northwest Syria, they were also nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize (watch their documentary) 
• Danish Refugee Council in Turkey

• Nihad Sarmini, who has just returned from volunteering for Action for Humanity.
