Student Experience Internships: applications now open

07 Feb 2023

The programme offers penultimate year undergraduates the opportunity to undertake an internship within our University or with a local charity/not-for-profit organisation

Student Experience Internships

The Careers Service’s Student Experience Internships (SEI) scheme is now open for applications.

All internships are paid, full-time, last up to eight weeks and are carried out through a mixture of in-person and hybrid working.

Students must be in their penultimate year of study in an undergraduate degree to apply i.e., in their second year of a three-year course or third year of a four-year course.

How to apply

  • Students can apply for up to three SEIs via CareerConnect (unless they are in receipt of a bursary or financial support from the University, they can apply for as many SEIs as they wish).
  • Students need to submit their CV and complete a short application form.
  • Applications will close throughout March (specific dates are noted on each job description via CareerConnect).

Help us to promote

If you know any students who might be interested in our SEI opportunities, please ask them to visit our website, and join our Summer Internships Facebook group to keep up-to-date with the latest vacancies, news and updates.
