Volunteers needed: Re-Write Cancer fundraising day

A group of colleagues are planning a fundraising day on Thursday, 22 September, and they need your help
Save the date:
- Thursday, 22 September, 10:30am - 2pm
- Where: Oglesby Cancer Research Building atrium
What's happening on the day:
- Bake off and cake sale – Buy cakes and vote for your favourite! Want to take part? Bake cakes and enter as an individual or team to win prizes! Prize categories include: 1) Best cake – judged by MCRC leadership; 2) Best cake – voted by your colleagues, 3) Best incorporation of cancer research.
- Cycle Challenge – Cheer on your colleagues and support them by donating to Re-Write Cancer! Want to take part? Cycle as fast and far as you can for 10-15 minutes to hit key distance targets. Limited spaces available.
- Auction – bid to win a Manchester City shirt signed by City player Kyle Walker!

What is Re-Write Cancer?
In a partnership between Cancer Research UK, The Christie and The University of Manchester, Re-Write Cancer is raising funds to support the new cancer research facility on the site of the Paterson Building. The new building will bring together the largest concentration of scientists, doctors and nurses in Europe to collaborate and accelerate progress for cancer patients.
