Simon and Hallsworth recruitment open

The Early Career Research Fellowships scheme is open for applications from excellent early career scholars who have completed a doctoral degree and have already demonstrated a potential for research in relevant subject areas.

The deadline for applications is 11 May 2022.  Links to the vacancies can be found on the fellowships webpage and the University jobs webpage.

Applications for the Simon Industrial and Professional Fellowships are now open.  The Fellowships provide opportunities for people employed in industry, commerce, the public sector, third sector, other professional services, or who are self-employed to undertake a fixed-term placement within the University. The Fellowship may be used for activities such as capacity building, or to scout and develop opportunities for business engagement, research impact, knowledge exchange or other activities of strategic importance identified by the University.

Here is the guidance on how to apply, including the application form.  Applications should be submitted electronically to Rachel Kenyon by 29 April 2022.

Applications for the Hallsworth Conference Fund are now open for outstanding academic conferences in 2022/23. Eligible events will draw together a wide network of international researchers tackling major issues that are likely to have a lasting and significant research impact.

The fund encourages applications around the following areas that are of current and/or emerging importance for the Humanities:

Nominations for Visiting Professors for 2022/23 are open.  Visiting Professorships are intended to enable eminent scholars with an international reputation to visit the University to assist in its research and teaching.

Colleagues wishing to invite a VP should send their application to their School Research Support Manager.  Please download the application form here.  Schools should send their ranked nominations to Louise McMahon by 20 May 2022.
