Changes in People and Organisational Development

17 Dec 2021

Changes from Monday, 20 December

From Monday, 20 December 2021 some teams and job titles within the Directorate of People and Organisational Development will change, along with some contact email addresses:

HR Services will become People and Organisational Development Operations:

The email address hrservices@manchester.ac.uk will change to people-od.operations@manchester.ac.uk.

There will also be two new, dedicated addresses for the processing of new colleagues joining our University to ensure these urgent transactions can be identified and responded to faster:

The Payroll Team can be contacted at these two dedicated addresses: payroll@manchester.ac.uk and feesandexpenses@manchester.ac.uk.

The Systems Team can be contacted via their two dedicated addresses:

Post.Management@manchester.ac.uk for all queries relating to Posts, Funding and Line Manager updates and People-OD.Systems@manchester.ac.uk for all ResourceLink and Power BI access, maintenance and developments and workforce information

All other queries and requests should go to people-od.operations@manchester.ac.uk.

Staff Learning and Development will become Learning and Organisational Development

The email address will remain temporarily staffld@manchester.ac.uk and we will confirm when this changes.  Job titles will reflect this change e.g. Staff Learning and Development Advisors will become People and OD Advisors.

Heads of HR and HR Partners

  • Heads of HR will become Heads of People and OD and HR Partners will become People and OD Partners

The Directorate of People and OD’s StaffNet pages are currently being updated to reflect these changes and updates will go live on Monday, 20 December.

You can also find out more about what the Directorate’s name change means in a Viewpoint blog from Adèle MacKinlay, our Director of People and Organisational Development.
