Podcasting – check your recording preferences

If you use the University’s podcasting service (also known as lecture capture), you’ll need to check and set your recording preferences again.

Due to recent issues with timetable data, you will need to check and set your recording preferences. Our podcasting service sent an email notification to users of the service containing a unique link to the ‘Recording Preferences’ web page where you can update your preferences. You can also visit https://podcast.manchester.ac.uk/optout to do this. 

We do not believe the data issues have impacted on scheduled recordings, however the advice is for you to check your events are still showing as scheduled on the Podcast Schedule tool, and report any issues as soon as possible to mediatechnologies@manchester.ac.uk.

Until the underlying issue is resolved, the Podcast Schedule tool will not reflect any recent changes made to the timetable.
