Spotlight on: International Staff Network Group

The Group was established in 2010 as a way to bring our 2,000+ international staff from over 100 different countries together

Our international staff members have made valuable contributions to improve the experience of working in Manchester, including the International Staff Handbook (updated in 2020).

Group members can also become a ‘buddy’ to new starters – this informal services matches people from the same (or requested) territories so they can help new starters find their way around our University and its processes; issues surrounding moving to the UK and help them settle in to day to day life in Manchester.

News and updates are provided monthly via the confidential Listserv messaging service and staff can contribute to updates via the EDI forum.
