Today is #GivingTuesday – the international day to give back.

2020 has been a difficult one for us all and we all want to take something positive from this year and help make a real difference.

#GiveBack2020 is an initiative by Giving Tuesday UK and other partners to encourage giving back to the charities who have supported us, our families and our communities throughout the pandemic. With charity shops closed and fundraising events cancelled it is estimated charities will be facing a £10bn funding gap.

Today is also an opportunity to thank you for your giving. During the past 12 months your giving has been exceptional with over £141,219.31 being donated to great causes. This is a phenomenal amount, particularly during such difficult times.

The Charities Aid Foundation who support our scheme and nineteen charities who have benefitted from donations, have sent in their messages of thanks to you for the difference you are making. These include personalised videos, letters and certificates.
