Wi-Fi connectivity issues - resolved

IT Services are investigating issues with Wi-Fi access on campus and in halls

Original message - 9.51am:

Issues with Wi-Fi connectivity are being investigated - affecting both the eduroam and UoM_WiFi network. While some users are able to connect on mobile devices, others aren't able to connect at all.

As soon as we have any more information we'll update this article.

Update 1 - 11.25am:

After further investigation, an issue has been identified as the likely cause of the intermittent problem, and logging in to Wi-Fi should now be working again for those who were affected earlier. You may however need to reboot your device or restart your Wi-Fi connection to reconnect

Update 2 - 2pm:

We now believe that the issues have been fixed. If you're still experiencing issues, please telephone the IT Support Centre on 0161 306 5544.
