Collection to give kids the joy of reading is back on – here’s how to donate
The University’s book appeal on behalf of Wood Street Mission – halted by the Covid19 lockdown in March – is back on.
Generous colleagues had collected books and dates had been given for our van driver to collect, but these dates were cancelled following the closure of campus.
If you are one of our colleagues with books ready to donate in your office or know any former staff who are no longer at the University and had books ready to donate in their former offices, please contact Muriel Shingler to arrange collection:
Due to Covid19 lockdown regulations, the van driver must wait outside a building for them to be handed over to him. Muriel will arrange these collections on the basis of the emails she receives.
