Our academics talk about their international work in recognition of World Cities Day on Saturday, 31 October 2020

A small number of Humanities academics from the School of Environment, Education and Development (SEED), have provided thought leadership pieces to help address some of the global challenges about sustainable urban development.

Dr Ian Mell, Senior Lecturer in Environmental and Landscape Planning, Dr Deljana Iossifova, Senior Lecturer in Urban Studies and Dr Nuno Pinto, Lecturer in Urban Planning and Urban Design, have shared their views on how cities across Brazil, China and India can be made fairer, more resilient and sustainable against the backdrop of the pandemic.
